Lighthouse Appraisals is operated by William “BJ” Voss, ASA Accredited Member, and built around the experience and expertise of mentor J.P. “Buck” Ward, a retired ASA Accredited Senior Appraiser with almost 4 decades of experience valuing and managing inventory, appraising, reposessing and remarketing machinery and equipment.

Since 1992, J.P. Ward has conducted over 1600 appraisals accounting to over $2 billion in assets. Ward has been associated with and accredited by the American Society of Appraisers since 1995, gaining both Accredited Senior Designation and certified advanced specialty in Machinery & Equipment Valuation in 2001.

Compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP)

William “BJ” Voss is a USPAP certified compliant appraiser. All of our appraisals conform to the guidelines as set forth in the Uniform Standards of Professional Practice. Any deviations taken from the standards will be outlined in the asset appraisal and valuation report rendered at the completion of an appraisal.
